Mental Health Program Facilitator
Alana Alexander has spent the last several years developing programs and services to meet the needs of families impacted by mass incarceration practices. Alana is also a formerly incarcerated person. After her release from prison, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in both sociology and neuroscience and a graduate degree in biomedical sciences. Community wellness and delivering public health in a socially and culturally appropriate manner have remained at the forefront of her educational goals.
