Tara Knight is a woman who wears many hats. She is loving mother of three children, an ordained minister, and a lifelong public servant. Currently serving as an employee of Red Tent, she has a history of employment with WestCare which has allowed her to build lasting professional relationships. During her time as a counselor, she used her formal education to incorporate trauma-focused therapy into her sessions with both children and adults. She is experienced in family preservation by conducting home visits, supervised visitation, and court cases when necessary.

Her role as a coach has afforded her the opportunity to work in the areas of housing, job placement, substance abuse, and life in general. As a business owner for over three decades, Tara approaches client relations from a strengths-based perspective. She is able to meet colleagues and clients where they are, and assist them with understanding and using new skills to produce positive outcomes. She does group facilitation weekly using an established curriculum. She is a ray of sunshine who is always willing to help others.
