Each Monday women who are now released from jail have the opportunity to continue the same therapeutic interaction from the jail in a community meeting. The meeting is lead by our jail instructors, Noko and Crystal, and they welcome all women to attend who have had been part of the jail program. The format of the meeting is the same format as the jail program incorporating the four elements that comprise this science based method of resolving trauma. Women meet in a circle, connect, discuss issues in their lives while working with their hands. The meeting facility is fully stocked with fabrics, thread and other crafting materials to facilitate working with their hands.
